Football Legends with Nationals ’94 Returns to Pirin Golf & Country Club for a Spectacular Second Edition

From 31 July to 2 August 2026, Pirin Golf & Country Club proudly hosted the second edition of the charity golf tournament “Football Legends with Nationals ’94”, bringing together some of the biggest names in Bulgarian and international football for three unforgettable days of golf, friendship and giving back.

Following the tremendous success of its inaugural edition, this year’s event once again united football legends, golf enthusiasts, partners and guests around a meaningful cause. The tournament was dedicated to supporting the Intensive Care Unit at Acibadem City Clinic Tokuda University Hospital, with funds raised during the event contributing to the improvement of medical equipment and patient care.

Among the distinguished participants were football icons Hristo Stoichkov, Krasimir Balakov, Plamen Mitsanski, Julio Salinas, Patxi Salinas, Thomas Berthold, Ulrich Borowka, Franz Wohlfahrt, Fredi Bobic, Manfred Zsak, Esteban Vigo Benítez and Josef Degeorgi, whose presence transformed the tournament into a unique celebration of sport and camaraderie.

The competition was played over two exciting rounds on the award-winning Ian Woosnam Championship Golf Course, offering outstanding golf, team spirit and unforgettable moments.
