Pirin Golf & Country Club Hosts Charity Tournament with Football Legends

For the second consecutive year, Pirin Golf & Country Club proudly stands behind the charitable initiative of the USA ’94 National Team and their international friends by hosting the Football Legends with Nationals ’94 tournament from July 31 to August 2, 2026. The event has one primary mission – to unite sport and philanthropy in support of a pediatric cardiology clinic, which will benefit from the funds raised.

Following the success of its inaugural edition, the tournament will once again bring together world-renowned football legends, golfers, and supporters of the cause. Participants will have the unique opportunity to play side by side with some of football’s greatest names, united not only by their passion for sport but also by their commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of dozens of children and their families.

Among the confirmed participants this year are Franz Wohlfahrt, Manfred Zsak, Thomas Berthold, Esteban Vigo Benítez, brothers Julio and Patxi Salinas, Srećko Ristić, Stiliyan Petrov, Krasimir Balakov, Hristo Stoichkov, and many other legendary footballers who have left a lasting mark on the history of world football. The tournament has become a symbol of how sport can bring together people from different countries, generations, and professions around a common mission – helping others.

The highlight of the charitable weekend will be the official Gala Dinner on August 2 at the Club House of Pirin Golf & Country Club. The event is open not only to tournament participants but also to guests, supporters of the cause, and football fans who wish to contribute to the initiative and meet the legends in person. The evening will offer opportunities for conversations, photographs, shared memories, and unforgettable moments with some of football’s most celebrated names.
