From this year, Pirin Golf & Country Club guests can buy their cards for Bansko ski center directly from the resort

From this year, winter sports enthusiasts who have chosen Pirin Golf & Country Club for their vacation can pick up their Bansko ski pass directly from the complex without having to spend time traveling to Bansko or waiting.

We at Pirin Golf & Country Club have tried to create the perfect conditions to realize our guests’ ideas about the perfect winter vacation through:

• Possibility of issuing ski passes;
• Free scheduled transportation to and from the first station of the Gondola lift in Bansko every hour;
• Free rental of ski/snowboard equipment with prior reservation and subject to availability for guests staying at Pirin Golf Hotel & SPA, Luxury Houses and Pirin Golf & Country Club Apartment Complex.
• Free use of the ski locker for your own equipment;
• Possibility of booking lessons with qualified teachers.

With the ski pass you get access to all lifts and slopes of the ski resort, regardless of whether you are a beginner and will use a limited number of lifts or you will take advantage of all of them. It includes unlimited daily use of all lifts, including the cable car.

The pass gives you access to:
• A modern cable car – a gondola with eight seats, which transports skiers from the city to Banderishka Polyana with a capacity of 2,400 people per hour.
• All ski lifts with a total length of 22 km. – kilometers / chairlifts 13.2 km, ski lifts – 2.4 km and cable car – 6.2 km / modern lift facilities with high capacity, which transport quickly and comfortably to the beginning of each slope.
• 20 professionally prepared and reliably secured ski slopes, with a total length of over 70 km., offering terrains for all levels of skiing, very well groomed and secured with safety nets and mattresses.
• 7-kilometer ski road connecting the largest ski slope with the city, covered by snow machines and illuminated, suitable for intermediate skiers and snowboarders.

During the winter season, the lifts will operate every day. Cabin: first boarding from Bansko 08:30, last boarding from Banderishka Polyana – 17:00. Lifts: first boarding 08:45, last boarding – 16:15 (Banderitsa 2 lift: 09:00 first boarding, last boarding at 16:15, Plateau lift: 09:00 first boarding, last boarding at 16:00)

For the upcoming winter season, the resort has 260 snow guns, which cover 90% of the ski slopes and modern Leitner snow machines, which will help maintain the slopes at a world-class level.

Bansko is one of the most famous winter resorts in Bulgaria. The city is an attractive place to relax, both for Bulgarians and foreigners. Ski and snowboard enthusiasts can take advantage of excellent skiing conditions during the winter months. In 2024, Bansko won the title of “Best Ski Resort in Bulgaria” for the 12th consecutive year. The award is awarded through an anonymous vote by professionals working in the ski industry, users of the service, tour operators, agents and media, and many point to it as the equivalent of the Oscar in the tourism industry. The resort has repeatedly hosted the European Cup competitions in alpine skiing and biathlon. During the WTM tourism exhibition in London, Bansko received its distinction as one of the most desirable destinations in the world, taking a place in the top 10 of the prestigious Lonely Planet ranking – “Best in Travel 2025”.
