It is our pleasure to invite you to the annual Elida Tours & Bulgaria Holidays Cup in association with Golf Club Ohrid Tournament, which will take place on May 20, 2023 in Pirin Golf & Country Club.

Entry requirements and entry fees
The tournament is open to male and female amateur golfers as defined by the current R&A
Rules of Amateur Status.
All competitors must be in possession of a valid Golf Hcp Card.
Entry fees
Entry fee 85 BGN
Practice round – 18 holes on the tournament course 65 BGN

Participants can register directly by contacting Pirin Golf at proshop@piringolf.bg or alternatively to register via AmGolf,
Registration will be open until 15:00H on May 19th local time.

TERMS OF COMPETITION & LOCAL RULES
- Entry Conditions
The tournament is open to male and female amateur golfers as defined by the current R&A Rules of Amateur Status.
All competitors must be in possession of a valid Golf Hcp Card.
Entries are open until May 19th 2023 at 15:00H.
The Tournament Committee retains the right to revise the criteria in special cases or reject any entry without giving reason for its decision.
- Format and Competition Categories
The players, both Men and Ladies, will compete in following Categories;
- A) Men and Ladies – Gross
- B) Men and Ladies – Stableford
- C) Macedonian National League –
The Tournament shall comprise of one round of 18 holes;
-Stroke play for Category A
-Net Stableford for Category B
First three places will be announced in each Category.
- Handicap (Hcp) Limits, Men and Ladies
- Category A Man– Max Hcp 12
- Category A Ladies – Max Hcp 18
- Category B Men and Ladies– Max HCP 36
- Tees
- Category A Man – Tournament Tees (Back Tees) / white
- Category A Ladies – Tournament Ladies Tees / blue
- Category B – Front Tees / men-yellow, ladies- red
- Prizes
Organizers offer prizes rewarding the winners in both A and B Categories:
Macedonian Golf Federation offers prizes for the Macedonian National League category.
- Number of Players
Tournament is limited to maximum 164 players, Man and Ladies combined.
- Decision of Ties
In the event of a tie for the first place in all categories (A, B), winners shall be decided by hole-by-hole play-off stroke play (sudden death) starting from hole No. 1.
All other ties will be decided by matching scorecards based on the best scores for the final 18, 9, 6, 3 holes or last hole in that order.
GENERIC TERMS OF COMPETITION & REGULATIONS
- Rules
The Tournament will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by R&A Rules Ltd., the specific Terms of Competition & Local Rules and the Generic Terms of Competition & Regulations herein.
- Tournament Committee
The Tournament Committee members present are responsible for the sporting aspect of the event and reserve the right to amend the Terms of the Competition.
The committee may appoint Referees whose decision on the Rules of Golf will be final.
Referees: Nominated by the Tournament Committee
- Authorization of Entries
All entries are subject to the approval of the Tournament Committee, which reserves the right to disqualify any competitor making false statement at his entry and to accept or refuse or, having accepted, subsequently reject any entry without giving reason for its decision.
- Behavior
Players, advise givers, caddies, should conduct themselves in a disciplined manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times. Breaching the R&A, EGA and tournament guidelines may be subject to disciplinary action by the Tournament Committee.
- Caddies
Player is allowed to have a caddie during the round. Caddy must not be a PRO.
- Prompt Pace of Play
Pace of Play condition will apply.
- Penalty for breach the rule
First time breach – Verbal warning from a Rule Official
Second time breach – One stroke penalty
Third time breach – Two strokes penalty
Fourth time – Disqualification
Above is applicable on the golf round basis.
- Carts
All players may use carts.
- Starting Time
Competitor who shall not be present at the starting Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified
- Player Starting Time
Competitor who shall not be present at the starting Tee when called upon to start shall be disqualified.
- Distance Measuring Device
Distance Measuring Devices are allowed during tournament play, provided conditions stated in Rule 4.3 are observed
- Equipment
Participants are obliged to use golf balls and golf clubs that are listed as conforming with the Rules of Golf on the R&A Rules Ltd web-site www.randa.org
- Disputes and Complains
All disputes/complains must be referred to the Head Referee who will resolve them by use of the Rules of Golf as approved by the R&A GC of St. Andrews. If not possible to be resolved, the Head Referee will address the matter to Tournament Committee.
- Anti-Doping
A competitor must not knowingly make use of any drug to enhance his performance. A competitor must, if requested, submit to a random drug test. Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The regulations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) apply.
- Disclaimer
All players agree that there are certain risks inherent in the game of golf and accept personal and sole responsibility for all such risks.
